The Bear Bunch

Beth from The Bear Bunch wanted an outdoorsy/bear theme that used greens and browns in the color scheme. She also wanted to have an outdoor scene with a cave, bear cubs, paw prints, and a mailbox incorporated into the artwork. The scene was then accessorised with a pink bow for the girl bear and a toy ball for them to share. The template itself was created with multi-layered sidebar and footer areas giving her more options for widget placement.

I think the bear theme is so cute and I am pleased with how it all came together!

Busted Plumbing

Kate from Busted Plumbing wanted a lighthearted, modern design that used yellow, orange and turquoise in the color scheme and had a woman plumber for the artwork. Finding a woman plumber to fit the design was near impossible so I used artwork that had a woman painter and changed out her paint roller for the much needed wrench. As we progressed through the design, we flirted with some retro-styling and incorporated that into the title font (sparkly diner) and the polka dot background. We then added in some scrapbook style elements and papers to finish it out.

I like how it all cam together and I think it has the lighthearted feel she was going for.

Kate later requested to use the same template and artwork for her review blog, which I was more than happy to do:

Dexter's Super Savvy Mommy

Maggie from Dexter's Super Savvy Mommy wanted an eco-friendly, modern design with green and white as the primary colors. Her blog is used for Reviews and Giveaways, so she wanted the header artwork to be something clean and crisp, yet whimsical and artsy. I believe the swirls along with the font used accomplish that well!

This blog was fun to work on and Maggie was great to work with!
